The reconstructed Municipal police building is situated in Daugavpils city historical center, in Muzeya street 6. The building is included in the list of state-protected architectural monuments. Possible time of construction - 1880-1885 year. Architectonic style - historicism with the influence of Russian classicism.

The scope of works included renovation of adjoining public garden at the corner of Muzeya and Saules streets. All authentical building elements - windows, doors, shutters and staircases were restored. Changes in premises layout, replacement of roof structures and all engineering utilities were made to match the modern function of the building.
