Energy efficiency improvement in the asylum and care center buildings

The project is developed to improve the energy efficiency of the day care center for people with mental and physical disabilities, and asylum buildings, managed by Daugavpils Board of Social Affairs.

Implemented design solutions, such as energy-saving heat recovery and ventilation systems, as well as high-quality insulation materials and window systems will significantly reduce annual energy consumption in the buildings. As a consequence, there should be mentioned a beneficial environmental impact and improved indoors microclimate. Renewed, modern architectural design will set an example for the development of the adjacent areas.
